We are constantly trying to improve and enhance the use of the internet for teaching and learning. We've also invested in course development and content delivery systems and we expect to announce a major new initiative to further involve classroom teachers in the very near future.

Google, Moodle Among Top Tools Cited by Teachers
Various products from search giant Google were mentioned most often by teachers around the country when asked what new applications they found most useful in 2008. Google Earth and Google Docs made almost every top ten list. The open source learning management system Moodle also received high marks. Online enrollments in the US are up from 45,000 in 2000 to over 1 million today according to Michael Horn, who along with Clayton M. Christensen and Curtis W. Johnson coauthored Disrupting Class: How Disruptive Innovation Will Change the Way the World Learns. Horn predicts that by the end of the next decade over 50% of all high school courses will be offered online. Who will develop those courses?
